So… after working seven (SEVEN!!) long (LONG!!) days in a row (IN A ROW!!) I finally have a day off!

Even Sweeter!!
So I’ve spent a good chunk of the day in the studio working on several projects. One of them was finally finishing “Love Stinks”!! It’s been on my To Do List for a long time but I keep getting distracted by other things.
I started this one soon after I completed “Love Bites” last year… THAT’S how long it’s been on my To Do List.
Then I realized that I don’t have an artist for August to show on the walls at the cafe. I spoke to some woman over a month ago about her mom’s work (mom didn’t speak much English)… but haven’t heard back from her. So, I figure why not throw my stuff up on the walls, right? I haven’t had an official show since I took over the cafe last year. Yeah, yeah, yeah… I do have artwork up there right now, but that stuff goes WAY back, looks nuthin’ like what I’m producing nowadays. Besides, the stuff that was up there now was to raise money for AIDS Walk. So now it’s time to try and raise a little money for ME!!
Granted the whole show is gonna be pretty much a rehash of the show in the Castro a couple months back, with the exception of “Love Stinks,” but hey it’s that much more exposure and you know us artists can never get enough of that, right?!!
Of course all this means I gotta get up at like 3:45 in the morning on my day off!!!
