From time to time I just sit down with a fat stack of blank paper, a cup of coffee and go for it. “Just keep the pen moving and the paper flying.” (A tasty piece of advice I got from who knows where?!) It feels weird not even picking up a paint brush, but it does feel good that there is some creativity flowing here, and hopefully some killer ideas for new paintings.
Got a taste for working on a larger scale… something I haven’t done in a couple years, (Wow… it really has been years! Holy Shit!!)
I’m really digging working in monochromatic with a hint/burst of colour lately.

My biggest and hugest apologies for those of you who showed up and found out that I had already left. BIG FAT APOLOGIES!!!!! I’m sorry I did leave the show a bit early and texted no one that I was leaving. I am grateful that you took time out of your lives to show up and support me and my artwork. I feel like a complete ass that I was not there. (Someone mentioned cocktails and I thought “Yes Please!!)
The opening at My Trick Pony is next scheduled art show I have at this time (March). I will invite everyone again to it… and I swear I will be there the WHOLE night… besides, I’m in charge of the liquor… TRUST ME, I’ll be there!!! And I will totally understand if y’all bail.
For those of you I did see at the show, THANK YOU! It was awesome to see you, some of you I hadn’t seen in quite some time. Again, my apologies if I seemed distracted… I was. Art opening aren’t always the easiest to reconnect.
The paintings are still up at Giant Robot and will be for about two more weeks.

That’s right kids.
The Giant Robot show featuring artists signed to Hands-on Mobile’s newest feature mixtART opens tonight. The show starts at 630pm and runs til 10pm. Sounds like the majority of the artists will be in attendance so it will be a cool chance for y’all to meet some cool artists. Sounds like there’s gonna be a raffle of some sorts… prints and t-shirts and such. It’s gonna be a good time.
I CRANKED out some new pieces for the show and gave y’all super-sneak peaks of them. I figured I’d go ahead and unveil them now for you…
